My Two Babes

Obviously Heather is my babe in one sense and Brenton is my babe in another. This picture was taken at the zoo, just before the bird show.

Tide Pools in Dana Point

This past week we were in Dana Point for a Moore family reunion (Heather's side of the family). Wednesday afternoon the family went out to the tide pools close the hotel. Unfortunately, the tide was still in and no creatures were to be found. Good pictures of the family were found though.

The girls had a fun time walking along the rocks to the tide pools.

Oh wait! We did find something in the rocks. We found Brenton.

Future Photographers

Heather purchased two digital cameras for our duaghters. They weren't expensive, they're not that nice and they take horrible pictures. But, it gives Isabel and Acacia the experience of taking pictures and learning how do to it properly (ie. not putting their finger in front of the lense).

We are so thankful that the cousins get along very well, especially Acacia and Amalia.

Brenton Having Fun

Lately Brenton has shown a propensity for having a bit more fun. He still cries a lot, but he does seem like he is enjoying life a bit more.

Zoo With The Best Family

Yesterday we were able to use our Los Angeles Zoo membership and many of our guest passes to spend the day with the Best family at the zoo. Surprisingly, they have never been to our great zoo. We had a good time at the Bird Show, looking at animals and surviving the heat.

Acacia's Promotion

Yes that's right, Acacia promoted out of preschool and into kindergarten last night. She is very excited to start kindergarten in the fall.

Swimming at Uncle Billy's

A few weeks ago we went swimming at my Uncle Billy's house for the first time this season. Uncle Billy and Aunt Karen have a wonderful pool and are very generous in allowing us/inviting us over to enjoy it.






Brenton wasn't so sure about all this water stuff!
