Running = Fun! ?

I can't imagine a more painful and "unfun" activity than running. But, my girls think it's the greatest thing ever.

Something's Moving In Our Pantry

The other day I heard a rumbling in my pantry. Frightening emotions flooded my mind as I thought about what type of terrible beast would be rummaging through our plates, cups and Tupperware lids. The banging and clashing became louder and louder. I started to hear moaning and groaning...

And then....

A Few More Pictures From The Zoo

Our kids had so much fun on a recent trip to the zoo. Our kids have a special love for animals. They enjoy, even though they have been to the zoo many times, looking at all the animals. Their favorites are the animals they recognize from the movies they have seen.

I love my Auntie!

Brenton and I recently took a little trip up to visit Heidi and her family. He loved watching the big kids play and they loved playing with him. But he loved his Auntie too and I had to include this very sweet albeit somewhat fuzzy picture of Brenton adoring his Auntie Heidi.

Brenton sends his love!

Recent Trip To The Zoo Part I

One of my favorite parts of my job is Spring Break. There is nothing like having time off from work to hang out with the wife and kids. This year our school board blessed us with two weeks off. The first week Heather went to visit her sister Heidi and her family. The second week was spent hanging around the house doing chores, taking naps, watching movies and reading. One break from this routine was our trip to the Los Angeles Zoo. It was a beautiful day to go. The temperature was perfect for the animals to be out and about and for us to walk through the zoo without passing out from heat exhaustion

James was very exited about visiting the animals

The kids enjoyed the Dinosaur Display

This particular Meercat enjoyed having his picture taken

Everyone enjoys Flamingos, until the wind shifts!

It seemed as if these Birds of Paradise were lifting their heads up high singing praise to God!

There's nothing like a picture of our beautiful Acacia

Easter Morning

Easter morning is always a bit frantic. No matter what time we get up, we always seem to be in a hurry. We were able to accomplish eating breakfast, reading our Resurrection Egg, that was empty representing the empty tomb, and opening Easter baskets before getting ready for church.

Easter Preparations Continued

I gladly admit that all I did was take pictures. My amazing wife did all of the baking and designing for our Resurrection Day party.
